Everything You Need to Know
Personal branding coaching helps executives deliberately shape how they are perceived professionally — closing the gap between their actual capability and their market reputation. At Bateleur, it begins with a 25-dimension diagnostic assessment, then builds a bespoke strategy covering narrative, digital presence, thought leadership, and visibility architecture. It is strategic, evidence-based, and anchored in authentic identity — not performance.
Marketing promotes products. PR manages perception reactively. Personal branding builds a deliberate, authentic leadership identity that attracts the right opportunities, rooms, and relationships proactively. Where PR creates external noise, personal branding coaching builds the internal clarity and strategic architecture that makes the noise meaningful and sustainable — without requiring you to become a content machine.
Duration depends entirely on your diagnostic band. Foundational reconstruction programmes (Critical Risk) run 16–20 weeks. Emerging brand programmes run 12–16 weeks. Developing band programmes run 10–14 weeks. Advancing band engagements run 6–9 months. Elite band engagements are 12-month programmes. Platinum band engagements operate on an ongoing retainer. Your Brand Authority Audit determines your starting point precisely.
The Brand Authority Audit is a 12-question self-assessment that maps your current brand position across five dimensions: Narrative Clarity, Digital Presence, Thought Leadership, Audience Resonance, and Legacy Framing. It places you in one of six brand bands and produces a personalised results summary that becomes the starting point for your coaching programme. It takes approximately 10 minutes and is completely confidential.
This is the most common reason senior executives arrive at a higher band than they expect — their internal reputation far exceeds their external market presence. The most consistent finding in our Advancing Band engagements is that executives are performing at a higher level than their brand suggests, which means they are leaving significant career, commercial, and influence capital on the table. The question is not whether you need a brand — you already have one. The question is whether it is working for you intentionally, or simply by accident.
Yes — personal branding is woven into every Bateleur coaching engagement as a cross-cutting dimension. In Executive Development, it manifests as authority and legacy positioning. In Personal Development, it is the externalisation of newly clarified values. In Group Development, it builds the team's brand equity within the wider organisation. You do not need to enrol in a standalone personal branding programme if you are already engaged in another Bateleur coaching stream — the work is integrated by design.
